What I do
“I would love to create a one-of-a-kind art piece for your space”
What is a Commission?
A Commission is when a client approaches an artist to make custom artwork specially designed for them. When you commission a piece of art you will discuss the purpose and vision for the art together with the artist to collaborate ideas such as colours , subject matter, style, or just to incorporate a specific room in your home. (as in the case for my Abstract work) As the artist, I will then create a custom One-of-a-kind art piece based on your personal preferences
My Commission Process/Pricing
Here’s my commission pricing for some of the most popular sizes of painting (wet media, oil, acrylic).. but I make my own stretcher bars so I can make any custom size needed. I can also make art on board.
8 inches x 10 inches= $395
11″ x 14″ = $475
16″ x 20″ = $675
18″ x 24″ = $ 750
24″ x 30″ = $ 950
36″ x 36″ = $1150
36″ x 48″ = $ 1450
For Dry media (charcoal , graphite) work will be done on artist paper and pricing is roughly 15% less than the painted price. Example 11″x14″ = $400 and $570 for 16″ x 20″
For abstract work (mixed media) on canvas or board , pricing is roughly 45% less than the price above (fine art) price. Example 36″x36″ =$630 and 36″x48″ = $797
Pricing for branding (logo work, T-shirts marketing, ect..) is $450 per design done digitally. Of course pricing is subject to change depending on the level of detail involved. A high resolution file will be supplied upon completion and payment.
A 50% non refundable deposit is required to book and begin the design process.
Shipping is extra, and will be calculated before final 50% deposit
All prices are subject to increases, dependent
upon the complexity of the subject and number of revisions requested.
If a portrait is requested you will be responsible for supplying as many acceptable photo references (no blurry or flash photography), the more photos the better in order to achieve a likeness of the subject. I have the right to refuse the commission due to bad photography.
The price may also increase if there is more than one portrait in the same painting.
It would be advisable to choose 16″x 20″ or larger for more detailed paintings , as it is more difficult to achieve finer details in more intricate subject matter. (Especially for portraits as the face may be really small on the canvas)
